I Was Mistaken

Rating: 4.0

am i wrong or are you right, cant find the gloves to have that fight.
sun goes in clouds come out, rain of wisdom or shower of doubt.
dismount the horse and end the ride, no place to run no time to hide.
the child within is always bold, the righteous path is worn and old.
wake up a mind eternal sleep, fists of freedom yours to keep.
cry you now for all depression, six cans a spliff o what a session.
beauty eyes the great beholder, death warmed up its getting colder.
the sun the moon the stars at night, a darkened heart sheds little light.
falling now the great abyss, no lovers touch or final kiss.
a drink of fear or maybe two, for hearts still stuck in superglue.
an axe in hand no place to grind, last nights life in only mind.
a drunken world a sloppy chase, in tin foil shoes we lost the race.
with open hands that close the door, a starving soul in need of more.
the knight jumps queen and she is taken, check mate lights out i was mistaken
