Great poem. There are some things that just don't need to be fixed, and this poem is one of them. (Report) Reply

A great poem with human feelings expressed in a peculiar style. (Report) Reply

This poem is just intensely beautiful..... I have a new poet on my favorites list...... Though I know they lived more than a century apart - Alice reminds me so much of Phyllis Wheatley - another intensely great poet. Though their lives were steeped in such intense aggression, segregation, and just plain hatred, Phyllis never focused on that aspect of her life - she only focused on the beauty, the love in her heart, the things that were so dear to her. Nothing in this world has ever inspired me more than that. This poem by Alice seems to be in that same mindset, though I have many more of her poems to read...... I love this poem. (Report) Reply

Lovely poem. Great idea about some things not needing to be 'fixed'. They may be beautiful as they are, perhaps more beautiful. (Report) Reply
