I wish I was dreaming
And none of this was real
Have I fallen into nightmare?
Why do I feel
That everything I ever knew
Has stumbled into make believe
I wish I was dreaming
And this was in my mind
Why are these walls so solid
Harsh and unkind?
Without a door to let me out
Locking me inside
I wish I was dreaming
And I could close my eyes
Blank out this dark illusion
Never know inside
It never existed
It was only in my mind
I cannot find comfort
In these things I never had
