If I Only Had A Duck Poem by Kelly Zion

If I Only Had A Duck

IF I ONLY HAD A DUCK THINGS WOULD BE DIFFERENT

IF I ONLY HAD A DUCK IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF I QUACKED

They found him facedown in the pond his body in the shoreline mud

crying or looking for something lost

on the paper at his side there was only writ one line;

IF I ONLY HAD A DUCK.
