If Loyalty Were A Box Poem by zarina binda

If Loyalty Were A Box

If loyalty were a box
to be passed down
Through generations
Many would look at it
In different ages
Many would remember it
And look at it
When it is proudly standing
Above the fireplace
Grandfather would tell the young
What it is for
And so will the young
Once they have remembered
What their grandfather used to say
And this world
Would be a bit more trustworthy again
