If War Is What They Want, We Give It To Them - Poem by Daya Nandan

We have tolerated much, all kinds of shit,
We have been polite, tolerating their spit,
And look where we are now, lost in an abyss,
One of darkness and corruption, devoid of bliss,

Where do we go from here? Where are we now?
Lost in the darkness of liars who can't keep a simple vow,
What are we to them? Trash that needs to be disposed?
Doors of opportunities promised suddenly becoming closed,

Why betray us now? What happened to the promised deal?
Why wait for the last second to bludgeon us with a blade of steel?
Well we are tired of this bullshit, we aren't footballs to be kicked around,
Not some some losers who will fall and stay dead upon the ground,

No that is not us, we will fight back with every resource at hand,
With every drop of sweat and blood to put this stupidity to an end,
We will win this war that these lying clowns wage upon our land,
For ourselves and our brothers who will follow our footprints upon the sand.
