If We Fail Comments

Rating: 5.0

Where the sea meets the shore and the sand wets the feet
Where rainfall is epic, and has flooded the street
When the wind blows so strongly, it uproots the trees
Nature can bring every day to its' knees

Nice portrayal of nature and its vagaries as well as the unfriendly approach of various govt agencies which are otherwise meant to help out people with what they actually deserve. Thanks for sharing.

Nature is very powerful. When we become too greedy and go on exploiting natural resources, we may have to face nature's fury. Our wellness lies in the preservation of nature..Nicely penned poem, thanks fo sharing.Congratulations for being the Poet of the Day.

Compelling contemplation. No, we cannot *fight* nature. We must not see ourselves as antagonists to nature. We must work alongside of nature, moving in the direction and fashion that nature moves. We will never win that fight, otherwise. The final stanza seems to shift to the struggle against man-made institutions, which too can be overwhelming, but at least is feasible when change is necessary. Thank you for this intriguing piece, and congratulations.

This is how the nature will retaliate if we go on destroying it. If we take care of flora and fauna they will take care of us. Despite our realization of the fact we are not working in that line. Day of doom is not far away. An eye opener. Nice poem. Liked it. Congrats.
