If We Have Found Each Other (Soulmates) Poem by james watkin

If We Have Found Each Other (Soulmates)

Sounds no fun; to not know for sure
And immediately
Till which feeling, as twixt us here
Sparks, recognizably.
Down on which spacious floor, Earth-spun
Life-danced, guest to guest
If half a lifetime, and more fagged
For that heart's unrest!

Stepped aside then, angels, for Him
Lightens the mood of all:
'Think of it, rather, with amusement
As a masquerade ball!
Whose mad swirling air of mystery
More seductive makes it!
Tease-tensed; but for its guise-lifting
Worth the wait: soul-lit! '
