Playfully trying to inhale the first fragrant smell of a flower being released from there slumber of an early morning shower, while still thirsty for the taste for life’s simple pleasers…
Or simply being touched by the grasping hand of my newborn baby firmly attached to my little finger, unsure, unyielding, but still unwilling to let go…

Flashing by a glimpse of craving
The hope of lovers wet with dew
Drizzling tiny droplets of longing
Steaming up their wants in a fog,

Three Sirens fight over my darkness
Holding me bound to their needs
Set to a rhythmic beat in my chest
My heart pounds their quarrelsome fight

She playfully dances in the crisp air
Carefree to the world around her
Cheerfully singing in the quiet night skies
Slowly, opening up her heart to love

You are the love you seek to find
An open heart will cease to wait
Surrender brings a peace divine
Let God guide you through the gate
