If You Were Poem by Orlando Edwin

If You Were

Rating: 5.0

If you were a song, I would play you all day long.
If you were the sea, all day I would float on thee.
If you were the sun, I would stand in your rays and not run.
If you were a flower, I would admire you every second every hour.
If you were time, I would pause you so you could forever be mine.
If you were but a dream, in it I would be your peaches and you my cream.
If you were a corner stone, I would sit by you and never leave you alone.
if you were a flu, I would walk naked in the rain just to catch you.
If you were but a touch, to me it would do so much.
If you were an itch, I would never scratch it.

If you were nothing, I wouldn't be writing you something.
If you were the beginning, then I become the end
