Im Always With You - Poem by Cathya Carter

do not stand at my grave and weep.
i am not there i do not sleep.
i am a thousand winds that blow
i am a dimond glints in the snow
i am the sunlight on a ripened grain
i am the gentle autumn rain.

when you awaken in the morning hush
i am the swift uplifting rush.
of quiet birds in circled flight
i am the soft stars that shine at night.
do not stand at my grave and cry

i am not there for i never did die.
im more alive now than i ever could have been
im with you all for as long as you need.
ill stand by you till you'r last standing day
till the time you come to join me and i pray
that, that is a while from now i hope.

i miss you and love you
tho i have not been gone long.
i forgive you for all that we have done wrong.
i want you to know i really do love you.
and although i didnt show it your still my little girl.
im proud of you
i love you
and i miss you both
but im in your hearts and all around.
i will listen to your every sound.

i love you
i love you
i love you
