Image Of An Angel - Poem by Emily Hopkins

It glows in the morning light
Radiating the joy of springtime.

The soft lines curve
Creating a heavenly facade
Entrancing to look at.

It emits a welcoming presence
Holding in its secrets
Until the moment is right.

I look once more
Never wanting to turn away
Keeping the image in my mind forever:
The image of an angel.
