Impenetrable Poem by james watkin

Impenetrable

This, haughty, though shy-faced wood
Besides us, this, forest thick
In its ways, self-preserving
Deep-set, quick leaf-startling
To that gold being of Light itself
Of each bloom's kingly regards
In granting full access to
Does refrain; days on through.
