In Heavenly Sky - Poem by Lindsay Crosby

I have written a love poem
It’s for you
I wish you had written it for me
It’s a story about two who chose to live by the sea
It’s the sweetest little drama poised
Collecting karma in an all year round harvest
In a two up two down so they need never be apart for too long
In winter the taste of wine and time to truly dine
Come summer afternoons on the warmed sands
Two together hand in hand
Visit the street market then a museum hall
Yes you have written and lived in hope as I
That we will be pardoned on the day that we die
I pray that you and I may be as we were
Watching two seagulls ever circling in a heavenly sky
