In the dark, I cannot see
What is in front of me
A veil of shadows, thick and black
A world of mystery, I must unpack
The silence is deafening, a void of sound
I strain to hear, but there's none around
Only my thoughts, echoing in my mind
As I wander aimlessly, lost and blind
But then I feel a presence, a subtle shift
A stirring in the air, a sense of drift
Something beyond the darkness, stirring deep
A flicker of hope, that I must keep
For in the dark, there is a power
A force that can lift us, hour by hour
It teaches us to trust, to have faith
To find our way, in any place
So let the darkness come, and take its hold
For in the end, it will make us bold
And we will rise, from its embrace
Stronger, braver, full of grace.
