Were you the stranger? I was imagining he was gonna pee, but I guess it was an attack in waiting. Suspended motion. Are you a dog fan? I have many dog stories. Perhaps I should write them...

yes, i have been the stranger walking down a quiet street that shows little sign of activity yet, in my thoughts or just taking in the surroundings when... yes, suspended motion, the moment before the shock, the impending moment... yes, i like dogs- especially medium-size friendly fellows like labs- more than i do cats actually (even though i've written many poems with cats in them) , but i intend never own one unless i live in a place where the pooch could run free. thanks for reading my poem, laurie! -glen
