In The End... - Poem by Navneet Vasistha

There he sate,
in thoughts no one knew.
trying to find his way,
through the din of the old and new,

In his endeavour for answers,
the questions flowed like a river.
But when he searched for his master,
there was the cold wind…and he could only quiver.

People had a lot to tell,
but none would listen.
And when he tried,
they’d only hasten.

Life was full of puzzles,
with the solutions hidden.
And the One who knew,
Visited paths few had trodden.

The day came at last,
when the lights shone on him,
As he lay down with peace,
he was alone again…but for flowers trim.
