In The Hay (Limerick) - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich 2
Either April or early in May
is the time to have fun in the hay,
as the fumes overcome
and the grasshoppers hum
it is Priapus having his way.
If you have not experienced this
I suggest you get ready for bliss,
just make sure that no hay
ever gets in your way
and remember it starts with a kiss.
There are rules coming out of conventions,
though it's rare that a loverboy mentions.....
in the heat of the spur it is all about her
and the gremlins will hog the intentions.
