In Walked An Angel: Poem by Dwayne Bailey

I have searched the heavens, I have searched the seas;
To find the woman, God has chosen for me.
Just when I was about, to give up and cry;
Feeling that alone, is how that I must die.

Into my life walked an angel, much to my surprise;
I was lost in her beauty, she held me mesmerized.
A quaint quiet dinner, for our first date;
We seemed to talk all night, we stayed up very late.

I knew that she was very special, right from the very start;
She held my mind in her words, and captured my very heart.
A year has passed since the time, of our first date;
Today she has become my wife, best friend and soulmate.
