Influence Of The Moon - Poem by Slava Olchevski

I lived like other people,
Wrapped in a tight cocoon
But destiny interfered
The influence of the Moon

The eye of a cat in darkness
Reflecting the distant sunlight
The Moon had attracted my soul
And gave it wings for a flight

These wings were taking me over
Beyond my wildest dreams
I dug in Mongolian deserts
And splashed in Andean streams

I found a gift prophetic
In a land that is far away
I brought it over from Mexico
To my place in the USA

A course of my life was affected
In order to turn me on
I was exhaled, temporarily
To a place called Halcyon

To further my education
In the matters I shouldn't talk
Few hundreds of books esoteric
Were left for me on sidewalk

The ends of days are here
With the end of 13th Bakatun…
Please, tell me my people's destiny
White Goddess of the Moon
