Injustice Is Cheap Poem by Hebert Logerie

Injustice Is Cheap

Injustice is cheap, but justice is expensive.
It is easy being stupid and being endued in ignorance.
Most laws were promulgated by sleazy politicians,
Who were steadily seeking votes, money and the veils of Eve.

Most rules are neither just nor fair. Rich people
Have more privileges and rights than the paupers
In the street. The peasants are wearing blue and purple;
That’s their way of protesting against the racists and the monsters.

Lawyers are expensive, and most judges can be bought
By the highest unreasonable bidders. The brave soldiers, who fought
Like supermen, at the end of the war, are ultimately trashed.

Be vigilant, not all officials are extraordinary citizens.
The streets are populated by gangsters, who flash
Money and power; they also beg like shackled dogs with chains.
