Inner Strength - Poem by Gordon Jerome

I have seen many things
That living life often brings
From pure joy to the deepest of sorrow
And I must tell you this
If your life’s run amiss
Don’t give up for there’s always tomorrow
If you feel you can’t cope
Remember there’s always hope
With the dawning of a bright shinny day
If you don’t believe me
Just wait and you’ll see
There’s truth in these words that I say
You see my dear friend
I’ve felt my life at its end
And thought nothing could ever bring me through
But when life gets to hard
Just pull out that wild card
Your inner strengths that are the essence of you.
“closing thought”
When life’s many problems have pushed your back against the wall
Accept what you cannot change and face the rest standing tall
