'Insomniac' - Poem by Heron Isugan

So many words
Can’t describe my face
The feelings revolved
I just can’t get out

Shattered epitaph
Fragments of you
Still lingers in me
A haunted memory

I can’t relate
To a happy state
Empty and hollow
In this lonely fate

This burning inside
Keep waking my mind
Nightmares that scare
Make me not dare

Like shadows as I mourn
Is this hellish pit!
As certain as the dawn,
Crawling down beneath

I can’t help but hope
For a waking day
In the end of my ropes
Dreaming for that day

Would it even end?
Heaven lays silent
Hades snatch my soul
Torment me no more!
