It Doesn'T Matter Anymore Poem by Cheryl Wan

It Doesn'T Matter Anymore

It doesn't matter anymore

For the sun has set

The curtains are let down

'Tomorrow' beckons for a welcome

'Today' will be journalled in memories

Look at the stars

Explore their beauty while you still can

Browse among those gems

Touch them, feel them

For morning will swallow them soon

It doesn't matter anymore

If a storm has wrecked your boat

Or an earthquake that cracked your building

Or volcanoes that scorched your soul

For the stars are still up there

And morning will still come to swallow them
