It's Over - Poem by Monet Bell

Seeing people hurt and cry
Over a lover they once had
They made assumptions, screamed and shout
Over something that wasn't that bad
Move on is what I say
I can't is their reply
A guys feelings change day by day
And all you are left with is why
In the future you'll remember that phrase
Why did I get so upset
I guess it's the love he promised always
And that love I'll never forget
Good advice
From a good friend
But the pain will never end
Do the right thing
Say the right thing
But he's not coming back again
Now his love is evaporated, dissolved, dissapeared
You get it
It's as invisible as the air
True love doesn't get thrown down the drain
But keeps coming down like hard hitting rain
You're confused
He's confused
Just get it over and keep a move
If it's meant to be he'll come back
And make up what he had to lack
Until then just keep it going
And believe that joy's in the morning
....It's over!
