It's Time For A White Wedding Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

It's Time For A White Wedding

I think it's time for a white wedding;
For at the window, sunset's reddening!
Late in our love; we've loved long-
Deeply in love, our love is song.

I'd say it's time that we joined hands,
Exchanged bands, heeded heart's commands.
It seems to me a time for honesty-
Let's escape bitter irony.

I'd guess it's time for a white wedding,
Pure as new snow- winter sledding!
Could chase black night grief away-
Make of our lives a sunny day.

Well, it's time love took a vow;
Surely, there could never be a time as now.
Visions of beauty and white wedding gown;
Dreams of rapture as the sun goes down.

I think it's time for a white wedding;
Ecstasy as this, we can't be dreading.
Let's have huge white wedding cake,
And our love never forsake!
