Its You - Poem by Jana Courville

why do I always feel this way
not wanting to sleep at the end of the day
or wake up in the mornings
searching for a way
any way you can find
that will get you out
away from the lies of the world
away from the hate and despair
driving you into madness
into the darkness of the light
what are you really afraid of
it is our light not our darkness
that most frightens us
there is nothing there in the darkness
that isnt there in the light
its only your imagination
