Jesus Calms The Storm Poem by sherry ann estacion

Jesus Calms The Storm

Rating: 5.0

Strong winds blew
In a cruel night
Chilling my bones
And giving me fright

As I was passing the sea
That was deep and wide’
Heavy rain poured
That won’t subside

One person I called
And was there to hark
He was my light
In a place so dark

Jesus calms the storm
And the big waves of the sea
The same Jesus who calms
The storm inside me

A lovely piece of poetry acknowledging Jesus as The Lord and Saviour. I like the articulation and rhyme scheme of the poem. A nice one indeed. Thanks for sharing and do remain blessed. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
