Joe Kingly Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Joe Kingly

Joe Kingly

Thanks to his character,
He has chosen this name.

If cut short we can see,
Not Joe and not Kingly,
Simply, ‘Jokingly! '

I look at the nature,
The heat and temperature,
Transports, Vehicles,
Oil leakage, Pollution,
‘Jokingly…' Look deeply!

Look, many have gathered,
Occupying the chairs,
Blow air in the air.
And promise nonsense,
Therefore, nothing happens.

These dumb, deaf, and blind,
Know nothing, or care not,
For the picture around…

Mankind is stupid,
Nothing less,
Nothing more,
Mankind is stupid!

The groomed in meetings,
Live with oil's plastic,
Lecture: "Fighting fossils, "
But consume the fossil!

Are they right, or are not,
Whenever speak wild,
Of the fuel, kerosene,
Ignoring industrial,
Parts, to shoes to gloves,
And the jars, coffee cups,
Scattered all around,
In rivers, on the ground?
