i am but a dog
lost in a fog
i cannot see
what's infront of me

i know not where I'm going
for the darkness is showing
it comes to kill the light
i must grow wings and take flight

i try to fly away
but on the ground i do stay
my wings are a wreck
and they make no effect

i run as fast as i can
but right away i am out ran
the darkness covers me
i now see my tree

in the darkness i see my tree
i run there i think i can be free
the darkness it hurt
I'm stuck in the dirt

i see me tree loose its leaves
my heart taken by thieves

you killed me
you couldn't see
i am now dead
keep that in your head
