Just A Friend - Poem by Angelica Mondragon

Has your heart ever felt that pain, ?

that sting?

i think you know exactly what i mean.

the ach inside

that one you always try to hide

it hurts doesnt it?

like its pinching you tight

all you wanan do is cry

your messed up inside

you no longer know what to do

your alone,

your lost

your so confused

why does this happin?

still woundering why?

because you love him

thats the honest truth behind

behind those tears that sorrow

that emptynest

you say hes just a friend

thats what everyone beleaves

but secretly

thats not ever what you dream

you dream of beign the one he holds

you dream of being the one he told

but your not you just a friend

he loves you yeah

but not the love your heart weaps out for

just you hug him like its nothing

and walk towards the door

because hes just 'Friend' and nothing more
