Just A Kiss - Poem by Samrawit Girma

A mind journey of confusion
A heart feeling of explosion
How did I ever get that?
Considering from what I’ve got
From a person I barely know
He has gotten to me until I was low
It was just a matter of minutes
Or a matter of few words
All I know is, I end up to be hear
A place which is far to be near
Moments hard to be concealed
Out in the air they are revealed
For too many eyes to see
When I fight this perplexity in me
But it was just a kiss
Which led me to be like this?
So how can I take it seriously
When I know it’s a glimpse of anxiety
But the sense was so much deeper
Like a melody in my ears by a whisper
This person is killing me softly
And every one is seeing it gladly
When all they see me smiling
But in side of me I’m dying
Now I can’t prove myself right
Caz no one hears a whisper at night
