Just Like A Plum Tree - Poem by José Alberto Soler
Outside my house I looked at this tree
Weird as it may sound it was funny for me.
He had such bind body and yet a bitter taste of sweetness.
He lost his essence, as he tried to change the way he was suppose to be.
For the first time, the plum tree felt just like me,
No one at his side, alone in misery.
When he suddenly realized there were many like me.
It was already alone, he forgot what he used to be.
Burned, wicked and dead,
And as the plum tree read
The words of this poem shread
And as i looked in my heart instead
Don't we all look like a plum tree I said.
