Velvet Astraea Dido

Lapse - Poem by Velvet Astraea Dido

Dark shadows
Heavy rain
flickering spark lights
unfounded; vein,
I lapse

I drift
I slip
I fade

Space swaddled
Shades undone
whispers of thunder volts
unrising; unbound
I lapse

I drift
I slip
I fade

Lord of envy
Clashing, bickering
mourn the confession
grief that Enslay
And I lapse

I drift
I slip
And I fade...
