8/25/08 is our date
Not when we went out
But when I came about
In your perfect lil' life

You're like a 4-leafed clover
Hard to find but lucky to keep
Something expensive and not to cheap
Your trust was a big leap

She isn't my girlfriend but I
Love her so much
Her hugs, smile, and advice
Everything I need in a beautiful wife

I can't imagine the last day
Without you by my side
I just wanna let you know
Don't ever let me go

I'm perfectly happy being her friend
In fact I love it
I just have this urge to admit
I wanna kiss her every bit

There's this feeling that we have
That no one can compare to
We're like the seasons and the weather
Things that always should stay together

A friend hugs you good-bye
A best friend does more than that
I know cause I experience it
That's a fact

I hope the last day never comes
You're just like a rose
It only comes once a year
Please don't make me tear
I just wanna make it clear
That I want you to stay here
