Late Morning Kisses - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A very good late morning to you my sweet one
and I'm sorry that while we were snuggling
I fell back asleep.
It's just that when I feel your warm loving strength all around
and your arms around me with kisses and nuzzles so sweet
it gives me such deep calm and peace
and I thank you for that my only one.
Please don't be upset because you should
even take it as a compliment of just how much peace that you bring.
I love you darling you're my everything
and I thank you so much for all that you do.
A very good late morning to you and truly sweet one
please don't be upset with me as I try so hard to please you.
Let's go sit down on the couch now and snuggle the rest
of this morning away sharing sweet kisses and smiling the whole time.
I love you babe you truly are my everything
and I want to spend the whole day in you wonderful and loving arms.
As soon as you're ready for lunch my dear one
I'll get up and make it special for you.
You are my beautiful Angel and I want to give you the world,
there isn't anything I wouldn't do for you because
you are my Kira so very beautiful and good.
So let's go sit back on the couch and snuggle away
these last late morning hours with kisses so sweet,
feel me there with you and know that I so deeply love you
because I am your Michael and I totally adore you.
