Courtney Holston

Left - Poem by Courtney Holston

He wondered where he went wrong,
But he shouldn't have to ponder long,
He left us in a hurry,
His thoughts in a flurry,
He said he'd call,
But he didn't at all,
A few months later he did,
Calling me his little kid,
But I don't like that anymore,
Not since he walked out the door,
Anger building up very fast,
Because he is now of my past,
I haven't seen him in awhile,
My thoughts bundled in a pile,
He visits every now and then,
But I still don't know where he's been
