Let Me Out Of This Dream - Poem by Sara Bergamini

I saw a picture of you
I heard a voice that I knew
And I couldn't walk away
All the tears I have tasted
All the years I have wasted

The rain started to fall down
But there's no dropp that hits me
I can scream so loud
But you won't hear me
I can't even feel
After the way you left me
All the love that I gave
Was the pain I should have saved

Let me out of this dream
Because for me is too much
To see you is a pain
To feel you is a cut

After a year of loving you
A child from my blood
You told me he's better off without you
Now he's so grown up

I spent years searching you
But now that your here
My lips won't say a sound
Even if inside
I'm screaming so loud
I don't even feel
Even if inside
My heart beats fast
I can't describe the pain
Because it all happening to fast

Every time that I walk
I remember all our places
All the things we had known
All the love that was shown
All the pieces of heart you have broke

Wake me up from this dream
Because since you left me
I'm not asleep and I'm not awake
I'm a sleep walker
