Letting Go - Poem by drea crispino

You are never prepared to say goodbye,
to the one you love but you must try.
Leaving behind all you have loved,
to then face the angels from up above.
Don't cry my child for I will always be here,
the pain will subside year after year.
Try to remember all the good that we had,
the laughter, the joy even when you were sad.
When night falls and you're thinking of me,
remember my love now I am free.
