Letting Go - Poem by Daniel Murphy

The past can cut through
It can tear at the seams.

The past can make holes
It can infect all your dreams.

The past can cause havoc
It can play with your head.

The past can be painful
It can make you see red.

The past can remind you
It can force you to cry.

The past can be the past
It just needs a goodbye.
