Leviathan Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Leviathan

Twisty dragon,
Your roaring ascends
As noises of many rockets
The whole earth quakes
If you shakes your wings.

Terrifying crocodile,
Your footprints are heavy
Clear as of elephant on muds
You make the sea water boils
If you venture up through it.

Lightning serpent,
Your heart is made of steel
Fire and smokes puffing out
From each of your seven heads
If your anger is stirred up.

Sleeping Leviathan,
Who dear wake you up?
Who can chain your feet up
Or cover your face with cloth
That you may never see light? .
