Lies - Poem by Angel Croshier

Lies are easier to tell
Even easier to get hurt by
We know the truth
Will always come out
But lies will always be told
Someone always gets hurt
Usually it’s a friend
Who’s betrayed your trust
But you still care
Even though they lied
They say they’ll stop
But in reality they wont
Lies are what makes us human
Lies are what is going to take us out

The truth is supposed to be solid.
But sometimes
Lies make it crumble
Lies shouldn’t exist
And the one person who wants no lies
Is the number one liar of them all.
