i hear the voices telling me not to let go
to keep you holding you beside me
let you in every time you call
and i know its wrong
to love you so strongly
to keep opening the door
i want to wipe the tears from your eyes
to tell you that what we are
is real is true
but the lies still surround us
the unfaithfulness consume us
and we find that we are only in passing
that love isn't ours to hold
forever i will keep seeing the face
your face
the one i refused to let go
the one that lingers forever
in my heart in my dreams
