Rating: 3.3
Lies from you in the sweetest guise,
guise you were, spilling lies.
Tears on my pillow with all my fears,
fears of drowning in all my tears.

You set yourself a challenge and you aced it. Reminds me of the Sestina. The very best one ever written is by Elizabeth Bishop. I plan to use her's when I have a Poetry Reading, coming up in Boonsboro, MD Library on Thur, Dec.13. Adeline

Deep meaning. Beautiful and artistic (drowning in my tears!) , I didn't know this style. Somehow close to cycle sonnets, but still different. Thank you.

You show you are writing about either yourself or someone who has been cheated upon by a person who said they loved you, then goes behind your back. I know how you feel it happened to me. My ex said he loved me then very seriously abused almost slit my throat. If it was about you it is good to write down to ease the pain. Great work

Another great poem, pity this one is about something so bad. I like this style of poem. I might try it out myself ; P You, as a poet, are an inpiration to the rest of us. We don't know how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have, and at the most important moments of our lives, we realise who are our friends and who loves us, and who never will.
