Life - Poem by Gordon Jerome

With the rise of the Sun comes the birth of a day
in which all of Gods Creatures can frolic and play
As I sit here in Peace beneath the shade of this Tree
thoughts of my life are awakened in me
With a Poetic grace now guiding my hand
I write of my feelings for this wonderous land
I've seen Grass on the Plains as it sways in the Breeze
and the depths of the Forest beneath Mighty Tall Trees
From the glisten of a Mountains Snow covered top
to the Sounds of the Beach as Waves Crash to a stop
From the Birds softly Winging across the Blue Sky
to Fish deep in the Water as they swim silently by
For theres a Spirit within all that guides us along
like the Music you hear in your favorite Song
So share in the Beauty that Life has to give
and apoligize not for the Life you did Live.
'closing thought'
Life is a Puzzle we assemble each day
Will the Pieces all fit
Till the End we can't say.
