Mario Nicolaou

Life - Poem by Mario Nicolaou

Empty rooms with evidence of previous life
Footsteps of small size – a child
In the bedroom sticky tapes on the wall
Perhaps posters of the favourite band- a teenager

Bathroom holds make yourself look younger cream
Someone evidently feeling the strain of ageing-a mother
In the annex there is wheelchair at the living room
As well pictures of an old lady-a grandmother.
