Life - Poem by Lindsey Fowler

dear sweet night fall
save me from this day
i refuse to live like this
is there another way
i live all by myself
in a prison of my own
please dont leave me here too long
i'm scared to be alone
The tears i cried
are somehow gone
they dried up in the drout
i try to plan my next move
but i'm too full of doubt
My life has not been wasted
there is time for me still
but the crumb of life i tasted
was all too very real
