Life Poem by Milica Franchi De Luri

Life

Rating: 5.0

Twiddling my thumbs
Crossing my arms

Sleeping in a bed
Living in my head

Building a nest
Inviting a guest

Singing a song
Done everything wrong

Going to the dance
Having a romance

Disabled with fears
Crying buckets of tears

Heart of gold
My soul I've sold

Puling my hair
Giving up in despair

Loving my dog
Saving the green frog

Reading a book
Cooking a chook

Seating in the dark
Strolling in the park

Getting old
Nobody to hold

Buried the dead
The living have flied

check 'buried' and 'pulled'. Like the two line rhythm, very smooth. Especially like your 1,2, and 6th phrases... they're something i do constantly.

Well, but this is how life goes on for all! Nothing happens, the way we want.We live for the better morrow and should not brood over the sadder, faulty past. Not all can be saints. But certainly, we can do a lot of good and try to be better in the days to come.God is surely with each one of us.Why to worry then? regards, dr john celes
