Life Is Beautiful, But Vanity It All Lies - Poem by Ogunfusika Blessing
If the Saviour had given in to the temptation
by bowing down at the beautiful but wicked feet,
would the world still be a better place?
I think you know the answer,
please don't ask me another question.
When have I told you?
that ephemeral was the radiance of the soul
even with Jasper, Emerald and Sapphire
the Devil is still the Devil.
The G8 can not tell us
that they have made the world a beautiful place to dwell forever
even though all thing is bright and beautiful,
but vanity it all lies....
