Life’s Dancing Drops Of Light… - Poem by Rikki Keller

mine is the shy, sublunar shadow of the still…
the still of nature where young nightwind fell asleep
the still of willowtrees that weep
upon the mirror of a pond…
the deep deep still beyond the everglades of pain…
the silver silence of elusive mist
a’lingering o’er moorlands after rain…

but see my fawneyes
drink life’s dancing drops of Light…
the sheen of friendship, Love and tenderness
of fen-fires, spheric spectra, sparklets, stars…
the blush of Betelgeuse, Zavija, Mirza, Mars…

they are the soft, endearing sweetness of One Man…
they are his weightless, warm reflections
his integrity, his dreams…
they are the music of his mystic inner streams…

they are the nepenthe-nocturnes
a’weaving wonder through my soul…
they are the fairy-feet that stroll
along my skin…

they are the only Flame of Holy Truth
I ever ever ever sensed within…
